Welcome to the BCS Student Chapter at the University of Bedfordshire!

We are a group of students passionate about using technology to create a sustainable future. Our mission is clear: to think innovatively to offer new solutions, to learn from one another and to learn together, Our motto, “Building a Better Tomorrow Together” reflects our commitment to sustainability, nature, humanity and innovation in everything we do, whilst having fun, organising events, going places and growing ourselves. Our activities bridge computing and environmental stewardship.

TAFU

TAFU is a nature conservation organisation that aims to raise awareness, particularly amongst young people, about the importance of personal responsibility and action towards nature. We are partnering with TAFU to collaborate on their “Technological Solutions for Nature and Humanity” Competition, to offer students at UoB the chance to participate in the competition and maybe even win!

Radio LaB is an award-winning radio station run by students. Radio LaB broadcasts a variety of shows, from specialist from music shows to light entertainment, and from news programmes to discussions about emerging technologies, throughout Luton and Bedfordshire from the University of Bedfordshire’s Luton campus.
